Indoor Foraging Workshop at Buy The Kilo

An indoor foraging demonstration with The Cramlington Forager, held at Buy The Kilo, Tynemouth. Come along and discover the incredible abundance of wild food growing on your doorstep, how to forage safely and sustainably, and how to make the most of your harvest.

It  is a common belief that you need to live deep in the countryside to  enjoy foraging, but once you start to look closer  at the small pockets of green spaces hiding in plain sight around towns and cities, you’ll  wonder why you never saw it all before!

🌱We'll cover how to get started with identification and what sources are reliable.

🌱We'll discuss how to build upon your knowledge and avoid being overwhelmed.

🌱Learn how wild food can be used in the kitchen, including tips on how to prepare, store and preserve them.
