Wild Brews and Botanical Hues

Come along to a wild and whimsical celebration of wild herbs and tea blends in this wild tea and creative art workshop with The Cramlington Forager, and Creative Space North East. Discover the incredible variety of wild herbs, and how they can be used to create delicious teas, and how many of these herbs can benefit us medicinally. Learn how to treat common ailments like coughs and colds with warm, healing teas and how to help ease the symptoms of seasonal allergies and digestive issues. We will also discuss how to forage for some of these herbs, how to do so safely and why foraging sustainably is important.

🌱How to forage for wild herbs, and learn how to prepare and store those herbs for making tea. This will include several different plants, flowers and trees.

🌱Discover the ways in which herbal teas can be beneficial to us. Benefits discussed will centre around sleep, stress, immunity, hayfever and digestion, just to name a few.

🌱Learn how to brew wild teas and blend different herbs together to craft your own tea blends.

After sipping on your wild brews, we will delve into the art of painting with wild and foraged teas in a hands-on creative session led by Creative Space North East. Using natural tea gradients, you’ll explore sepia-style washes to create earthy, botanical-inspired artworks which you will be taking home with you.
