About the Event

An indoor wild tea foraging demonstration with The Cramlington Forager, held at Koru, Gosforth. 

Come along and discover the incredible variety of wild herbs, and how they can be used to create delcious teas, and how many of these herbs can benefit us medicinally. Learn how to treat common ailments like coughs and colds with warm, healing teas and how to help ease the symptoms of seasonal allergies and digestive issues. We will also discuss how to forage for some of these herbs, how to do so safely and why foraging sustainabily is important.

- What to Expect -

🌱Learn what it means to forage, how we can act sustainably when out and about and why it's important. 

🌱How to forage for wild herbs, and learn how to prepare and store those herbs for making tea. This will include several different plants, flowers and trees.

🌱Discover the ways in which herbal teas can be beneficial to us. Benefits discussed will centre around sleep, stress, immunity, hayfever and digestion, just to name a few.

🌱Learn how to brew wild teas and blend different herbs together to craft your own tea blends.

🌱Taste several different wild teas

Feel free to bring a notepad and pen if you want to take notes, everything else will be provided.
