Wildcrafting Workshop: Clay Impressions

Each season seems just a fleeting moment in the year, each with its own unique natural wonders and treasures. Clay impressions cast with the plants, flowers and other seasonal offerings can be a way preserving those treasures, of creating everlasting memories of those seasonal moments. Trinkets, gift tags, christmas decorations, or wall decorations; they have many beautiful uses and can be brought out and changed as a way of honouring the seasons.

- What to Expect - 

In this Wildcrafting workshop,  you'll be provided with the materials needed to craft decorations made from clay. We'll be using natural material collected on a guided walk around one of Cramlington's green spaces to create beautiful impressions in the clay. Whilst on the walk, you will learn how to identify and sustainably forage for the abundance of wild edibles which are available at this time of year. 

- What to Bring -

The route is predominatly along established paths and cycletracks so please wear whatever shoes you feel comfortable in.

- Accessibility -

This route is mostly over footpaths and cycletracks, but if you have any accesibilty requirements  I ask that you can please get in touch before booking just to make sure that this route is right for you.

- Extra Information -

Each participate is required to purchase one ticket, this includes children under the age of 14 who wish to make a flower press. This is to make sure that there are enough materials to go around. 

An email will be sent out to all attendees a few days before the event to email addresses used during the booking process to confirm all of the details and meeting information.
